ASLAN’s corporate office is located in Atlanta, GA. Many of our team members grew up here – a few of us are even old enough to have a faint memory of the city in the days before the civil rights movement of the 1960s. And while we are not so naïve as to think that Atlanta has become a place where men and women are always judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin, we are grateful and proud that in the five decades that have passed since Dr. King’s great speech in the shadow of the Lincoln Memorial, our home city has become a new and better place for men and women of every color – and that in great measure thanks to a fellow Atlantan whose 16 minute speech focused a nation’s attention on much needed and long overdue change.
